Overview
Small downtown with the 18 Road / North Fruita Desert trails minutes away and the Kokopelli Loops at Loma nearby. Most riders pedal from town or park at the trailheads, so shuttles matter less here than in Moab. Grand Junction (Lunch Loops, The Ribbon) and Palisade (Palisade Plunge) are the add-on rides. There is no fee to ride the 18 Road trails; camping at the North Fruita Desert Campground is fee-based and BLM-managed (BLM, 2026-10-15: https://www.blm.gov/visit/18-road-north-fruita-desert (opens in a new tab) ).
